Kalpasar Seabed Engineering Investigations and model studies for the Gulf of Khambhat

a) Objectives

To carry out Geophysical Survey along the Revised Dam Corridor, Bathymetry Survey in the Gulf of Khambhat – Northern Portion, Bathymetry Survey in the Gulf of Khambhat – Southern Portion and Hydrodynamic and sediment model and related measurements for the Gulf of Khambhat

b) Work carried out

Carried out project planning, design of field data collection, oceanographic, interacting with the clients, organizing the meetings and MOU documentation preparation etc.
Carried out state-of-the-art surveys for geophysical, geotechnical, geological and hydrographic survey.
Monitored numerical model study of Gulf of Khambhat and associated estuaries for HD as well as sedimentation characteristics.
Carried out oceanographic parameters like the tide, current, waves, CTD, OBS, discharge measurement, float track, water quality and grab sampling along entire Gulf of Khambat
